Match Notes

Game was played as part of the Bundaberg Centenary celebrations the Australians used the game as training run for the 2nd Test against New Zealand the following Saturday.

Geoff Connell was originally selected in the 2nd row for Australia but pulled out the day before the game due to blisters on his feet, Ron Lynch flew up from Sydney on the morning of the game to replace him.

Greaves replaced Hanigan at half time after Hanigan received a cut to the back of his head. Manteit replaced Lynch during the 2nd half.
