- Sidney E. Short
Additional Notes
According to news reports, Sidney Short was somewhat central to a drama with Bramley in December. Club president T. E. Wilson resigned owing to differences with the committee on matters of policy, with one particular sticking point being over Bramley being used as a nursery for other clubs such as Hull, Leeds or Huddersfield. Short had transferred to Bramley this season from Leeds, and he was forced to return by the Northern Union after being reclaimed by Leeds owing to Bramley's inability to pay the transfer fee of £250. His last game for Bramley was on the 24th of November 1921, and he lined up for Leeds on the 31st.
